| Финансирование: | New Wellcome Trust SCF awards will comprise five years' personal salary and research programme funding. After the first period of award, the fellowships will be subject to a competitive, rolling scientific review every five years. The Wellcome Trust will provide research programme costs during the entire period of the fellowship. |

The awards are open to individuals with relevant connection to the European Economic Area (EEA). 'Relevant connection' can be established if an individual has an appropriate degree from a university in the EEA or has worked in a university or hospital or institution in the EEA for at least the past three years, or has done so before taking up an appointment outside the EEA. Candidates who are not EEA nationals are eligible to apply if the individual has an appropriate degree from a university in the U.K. or has worked in a university or hospital or institution in the U.K. for at least the past three years, or has done so before taking up an appointment outside the EEA. Candidates should not have more than 15 years' clinical and research experience from the date of their first medical, dental, or veterinary qualification. They should normally have a research degree (Ph.D./M.D.) and some postdoctoral research experience (typically at least 3 to 5 years) and be accredited, or close to accreditation, in their chosen clinical specialty. Due allowance will be given to those whose career has been affected either by a late start or by interruption for personal or family reasons. Candidates may apply to remain in their current laboratory, to return to one where they have worked before, or to move to a new laboratory. |
